After removing all of our patient’s teeth, we prepared a bar retained, easily cleanable overdenture on 4-4 implants.

All teeth of our middle-aged patient had to be removed. We prepared a full arch metal-ceramic bridge on 8 implants fixed screw-retained abutments on the lower jaw. Because of the lack of bone volume, we prepared a bar retained denture on 4 implants. for the upper jaw.

Unfortunately, the upper teeth of our middle-aged patient were unsalvageable. He was looking for an affordable and comfortable solution that would suit his youthful lifestyle. With the denture, his smile is dazzling.

5. Bar-retained full-arch denture on implants

Our patient reported with only two implants in their mouth. Since their bone mass, for the most part, satisfactory, a further 10 implants were installed. He was provided with a bar-retained upper denture and a complete full-arch lower metal ceramic implant.

6. Bar-retained denture and full-arch bridge borne by implants

Our patient endeavoured to undergo a complete dental make-over. Following removal of all teeth, 8 implants were installed in the maxillary bone and 4 in the mandible, with prior bone graft performed. Following healing, a bar-retained denture and a full-arch bridge were placed on the implants. Our dental technician did their level best, the results are self-explanatory.

7. Bar-retained upper overdenture

Following removal of the upper teeth a CT scan ascertained that the patient’s bone mass was adequate for the installation of implants. Following 2 months’ osseointegration, the new bar-retained denture was complete in 10 workdays. While securely anchored on the implants, it can also be thoroughly cleaned since it can be removed.
